1. Introduction and Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how B3 Apps collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the
AR Drawing – Sketch & Trace application. The App is designed as a utility tool to assist users
in drawing using Augmented Reality (AR).
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy.
This App is intended only for users aged 13 years or older.
2. Local Processing & Data Minimization
To protect your privacy, the core functionalities of this App are designed around
local device processing.
- No Image Uploads: The images you select for tracing and the final artworks you create are processed locally on your device. We do not upload, store, or transmit your personal photos, camera feed, or drawings to our servers.
- No Personal Account Required: We do not actively collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone number to operate the core features of the App.
3. Device Permissions and Justifications
To provide app features and support advertising, the app may request certain device permissions. These permissions are only used when necessary.
3.1 Core Application Features
- android.permission.CAMERA: Strictly required for the core AR functionality. It provides the live camera feed necessary to overlay digital images onto physical paper. We do not record, capture, or transmit this live feed to our servers.
- android.permission.READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (Android 12 and below) & android.permission.READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (Android 13+): Required to allow you to select existing images or sketches from your device's gallery to use as tracing templates.
- android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Required to save your completed sketches and artwork directly to your device's local storage.
- android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO & android.permission.READ_MEDIA_VIDEO: These permissions are utilized strictly locally on your device to support in-app video recording features (e.g., recording your drawing process). We do not collect, listen to, or transmit your audio or video files.
3.2 Advertising and Analytics
The App is provided free of charge and is supported by third-party advertisements. To facilitate this, we utilize Android's Privacy Sandbox and third-party advertising identifiers.
- com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID: Used by advertising networks (such as Google AdMob) to deliver personalized or contextual advertisements and for fraud prevention.
- ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_CUSTOM_AUDIENCE: These permissions interact with Android's Privacy Sandbox to support interest-based advertising and attribute ad performance securely, without relying on cross-app tracking identifiers.
3.3 System and Network Operations
- INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE, ACCESS_WIFI_STATE: Required to load advertisements, check connectivity, and send anonymous crash reports via Firebase.
- WAKE_LOCK & FOREGROUND_SERVICE: Ensures the device screen remains on while you are tracing an image and allows essential background tasks (like saving a file) to complete without interruption.
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS & RECEIVE: Used to send you local system alerts or updates regarding App features.
- VIBRATE, CHECK_LICENSE, BIND_GET_INSTALL_REFERRER_SERVICE, DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION: Standard system permissions required for haptic feedback, Google Play license verification, and secure app installation tracking.
4. Third-Party Service Providers
We use third-party libraries (SDKs) to facilitate the Service, serve advertisements, and analyze app performance. These providers may collect technical data (such as IP address, Device ID, and Crash logs) under their own privacy policies:
- Google AdMob (Advertising)
https://policies.google.com/privacy
- Google Analytics for Firebase (Analytics)
https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- Firebase Crashlytics (Crash Reporting)
5. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed toward individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, we will delete it immediately. Parents or guardians who become aware of such activity should contact us.
6. Your Privacy Rights and Choices
Under applicable data protection laws (such as CCPA/CPRA), you have the right to opt-out of personalized advertising. You can limit ad tracking or reset your device's advertising identifier through your device settings (e.g., Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID). You may also uninstall the App at any time to revoke all device permissions and cease any further automated data collection.
7. Security and Disclaimer
We value your trust and strive to protect your information using commercially acceptable methods. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We are not liable for any data breaches occurring within third-party SDKs integrated into the App.
